Nancy Freese

Nancy is a native Kansan from Chapman in Dickinson County. She attended K-State and graduated with her Master’s in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, being one of the few in the state who hold dual certification  and licensing in both areas of study. She possesses dual certification and licensing in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from K-State, with experience in neuro-based communication and swallowing disorders. She is currently working as an Educational Audiologist for Lawrence Public Schools, with children
from birth to age 21 years.

On a personal note, Nancy married Greg in 2017 and has two bonus adult children: Alex and Abby. Furthermore, Nancy is an avid animal lover and also actively volunteers for election worker duties during primary and general elections. By participating in the 2024 Class of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service Series, Nancy hopes to continue to strive to make a positive impact in both her professional and personal life.
