I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Texas Christian University. After graduation, I taught hearing impaired students for several years. I then became a stay at home mom for our 3 children. I returned to work after our children were grown and was the Admissions Director in a private school for 13 years. My husband and I have owned a photography business for over 12 years. I became interested in politics when a good friend ran for the KS legislature and was able to help with her campaign. I love being behind the scenes helping with campaigns, knocking on doors, meeting people, networking, and helping constituents connect with their representative. Michael and I have 9 grandchildren and I enjoy helping them understand why being knowledgeable and involved in politics is so important.
