Sara Larson

Public Biography

Sara Larson, a Kansas native and multi-passionate entrepreneur, has built a career defined by creativity, strategy, and community. With over 15 years of experience spanning brand development, marketing, operations, event management, and client relations, Sara brings both vision and execution to every venture she leads. As CEO of 1880 Beef, Sara has cultivated a premium retail beef brand rooted in heritage, quality, and local pride. In addition to her leadership at 1880 Beef, Sara owns Wild & Blooming, a floral and event design studio in Manhattan, Kansas, specializing in weddings, editorial styling, and high-profile events. Her work will be featured at the Philadelphia Flower show this coming March. Previously, Sara served as Brands Manager for MGP Ingredients, where she launched and managed an award-winning portfolio of spirits. Earlier in her career, she held marketing and management roles with Aramark Higher Education, JTP Films and Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, where she honed her operational and guest experience expertise. She even began her professional journey in public service as a Constituent Services Representative Intern for the United States Senate in 2005. A lifelong learner, Sara holds several credentials as a Sommelier and Certified Event Planner, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Finance from Washburn University. Deeply committed to
her community, Sara participates in multiple civic organizations, including the Riley County Rural Economic Revitalization, Blue Valley Business Collaborative, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Riley/Pottawatomie/ Geary Counties, Kansas Livestock Association member, and Center Township Republican Committeewoman. Sara lives in northern Riley County on the family ranch with her husband, Andy Larson, and their four-year-old daughter, Clara.
