Public Biography

Beneé Hudson is a lifelong Kansan with the exception of a few years out of state. Upon return to Kansas, her family resettled in Olathe where she graduated from Olathe South High School.  While in Olathe, Beneé started her passion for volunteerism with the Olathe Trailblazers and Special Olympics.  Her older brother was a star athlete with the Special Olympics and her entire family worked alongside the program at local and state events.  After high school Beneé attended the University of Kansas, Johnson County Community College and eventually Baker University.  She holds degrees in Liberal Arts, Interactive Media and Business Administration and has earned certification in PMP.

Beneés career covers a variety of business segments from the music industry to telecommunications.  She is currently the Associate Director of Data Visualization for a local real estate investment trust.  Her service to the community continues through  volunteering for local organizations and political candidates such as ShelterKC, Happy Bottoms, Veteran’s Community and Mike For OP Mayor. She holds the Vice Chair position on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Overland Park.
