Amanda Grosserode

Public Biography

Amanda Grosserode has an extensive background in politics, education, and grassroots organization. She currently serves as the Director of Advocacy for Kansans for Life, where she oversees KFL’s grassroots functions, supervises the grassroots team, and manages all aspects of Political Action Committee operations,
from candidate endorsements to compliance reporting.

Previously, Amanda worked as a high school teacher at Brighton Academy of Overland Park, where she taught history, geography, government, and personal financial literacy and advised the student council. Her political experience includes serving as the Kansas State Representative for District 16 from 2011 to 2017. In the Legislature, she chaired the Education Budget Committee and served on key committees including Appropriations and Education. She also served as Statewide Grassroots Director for Kansans for Life during a major ballot campaign, managing a team of 45 staff across Kansas.

Amanda was born and raised in central Nebraska where her parents raised cattle and had a custom haying business. She graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in education. Amanda and her husband live in Gardner, KS. They are blessed to be parents of two young adult sons.
